The critical minerals recycling industry refers to the recovery of critical mineral resources (such as metals and oxides) from recycled materials—including rare metals and secondary resources such as spent batteries and PCBs—and converting them into industrial raw materials. Through this process, the industry contributes to establishing a stable supply chain for critical minerals.

Forum Operation
Operates under bylaws consisting of the General Assembly (decision-making), Executive Committee, Advisory Committee, and Secretariat (KOMIR).

Legal Status
A voluntary organization registered as an “organization deemed a corporation” under the Framework Act on National Taxes.
